The North East School District is committed to offering comprehensive support to students and families experiencing homelessness, as well as to students in foster care.  Our district has implemented policies designed to promote consistent educational opportunities and ensure that all students receive the necessary resources and assistance.

 

Policy 251 articulates our district’s overall policies and procedures for supporting students facing homelessness, foster care, or other forms of educational disruption.  Additionally, Policy 255 provides specific guidance to maintain educational stability for children in foster care.
