Title I Dinner - October 2024

A large orange pumpkin sits on a table decorated with fall leaves and a gift bag.

Families of students receiving Title I reading or math services got to “FALL in Love with Learning” at this year’s Fall Title I Dinner and Parent Meeting.  Mr. Williams, Mrs. Lindenberger, Mrs. Quick, Title I Secretary Mrs. Teel, and former Title I Secretary Mrs. Komorowski helped host the event that brought in seventy-one students and family members.  Dr. Hartzell provided opening remarks, welcomed the families, and explained Title I regulations.  Next, Mrs. Hathaway spoke, highlighting the important role families play in their children’s academic success.  After a delicious pizza dinner provided by The Brotherhood of St. Josephs, children listened to an amazing storytelling session by Mrs. Amberlee Glazier of the Erie County Library while parents met with Mrs. Quick and Mrs. Lindenberger to discuss ways that families can support their children’s reading growth.  The children were excited to end the evening with donuts from Little Shop of Donuts, and each child took home a pumpkin from Burch Farms, two sets of magnetic letters, and a book of their choosing.  Thank you to our North East Elementary School Title I families and staff for such a wonderful evening!

A large group of people are seated at tables in a community hall, enjoying a meal.
